How Clomid Works

Using clomid is more advisable/ preferable to going through In Vitro Fertilization ( IVF ) or even undergoing any form of surgery/ surgical treatment to treat cases of infertility in men. The drug called clomid (otherwise known as clomiphine citrate) is a non-steroid medication that was initially used for women with female infertility but has also been proven to be effective as a counter attack against male infertility. What clomid (clomiphine citrate) basically does in the body is to raise the level of testosterone production and facilitate sperm synthesis.
It enhances the creation of two hormones which are needed for the generation of healthy sperm, the hormones are FOLLICLE STIMULATING HORMONE ( FSH ) and LUTEINIZING HORMONE ( LH ). FSH acts as a positive catalyst during the development of sperm, LH on the other hand quickens the testosterone secretion process. Testosterone is the major and most important hormone involved in sperm production by a man, Male infertility arises when a man’s testosterone level is below par/ inadequate.
