PSG an emerging force in European football?  Can Anderlecht upset Bayern?

Unai Emery side have been unmatchable this term since the £222m signing of Brazilian forward, Neymar, Dani Alves from Juventus to their ranks, Paris St. Germain are still a team to beat in this seasons Uefa Champions League. With knockout stages football already guaranteed, PSG will be looking to cement their position at the top of Group B against Scottish outfit, Celtic FC.

The combination of Neymar, Cavani and 18-year-old French sensation Mbappe have produced 41goals barely halfway into the season.

PSG has the most potent forwards in Europe at the moment and are not looking to slow down. PSG are still being linked with Griezmann and Sanchez to show that their ambition to defeat Europe elite competition with the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United and their city big spenders, Man City all in strong forms this term.

This term, PSG has scored an unmatched 17goals with any other opposition finding the back of their net in four attempts with the like of Bayern Munich falling in Paris 3-0 on matchday 2.

This game show that no worries for the Parisians in midweek. Unai Emery will be looking to avoid injuries as they look to build their position in the league.

This match will be crucial for Bayern if they are to wrestle PSG for top spot on match day 6.

Basel host José’s United  as CSKA Moscow welcome misfiring Benfica!

With qualification all but guaranteed, United will be raising their stake higher at the summit of Group A.

With Paul Pogba, Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimoviç back to first team football and an excellent show at the weekend against Newcastle, José Mourinho will be looking for his fifth win against Basel whom he defeated in the first leg 3-0 at Old Trafford.

The trip to Switzerland will serve as further test for returnees. With United already trailing high flying City by 8points, they will be looking to make their business very quick with Brighton and Holves Albion waiting on Saturday in the Premier League.

CSKA Moscow vs SL Benfica

CSKA vs Benfica: with Benfica yet to pick up their first win in this year competition, and CSKA tied with second placed Basel on 6points, they will be hoping to capitalise on United win in Switzerland to go second in Th Group A log, with a final day trip to Old Trafford very crucial.

With Benfica almost eliminated from Europe elite competition this term, Europa League football is still possible if they win their last two fixtures and United doing them favours by defeating their opponents. The challenge is high in Russia with kick off earlier because of weather.
