“Ladies and gentlemen, here I am, the once okada boy now the overall best graduating student.”
Those were the first words of Adeyemo at the convocation ceremony as he gave his acceptance speech
Indeed he rode an Okada throughout his stay in school to fend for himself.
Years later, his hardwork has paid off. He is the overall best student at the 4th and 5th convocation of Osun state University. He graduated with a first class from the Department of Civil Engineering with a CGPA of 4.81.
His story becomes even more inspirationing as he share the details of his childhood. According to him, he had consistently gotten poor grades when he was in elementary 1-4 and only managed to score prerequisite 5 credit passes in WAEC examinations. He began to ride Okada after secondary school to make a living and also pay for his JAMB form.
His story is yet another inspiring testament of the power of hard work.
