Oscar is a Nigerian self-taught artist.
Whats different about him is the tool he uses- and the amazingly detailed portraits he creates.
He calls himself a “ball pen artist”. Rightly so, all he uses is his ball pen and white embossed paper.
He first uses pencils to sketch out the outlines, then shades with a pen.
His art doesn’t come easy though.According to him it takes an average of 100 hours to finish a work. He actually spent a total of 120 hours sketching this work of Morgan Freeman
Its not surprising, he uses very light cross-hatches that are tiny and close to each other.
